Our felt bags are created using traditional felting techniques and high-quality New Zealand wool. The wool is dyed using natural dyes before being shaped and crafted by hand, creating durable accessories with a soft texture and distinctive finish.
Each bag is produced by women’s cooperatives who use felt-making as a way to support their families and earn an independent income. This work provides valuable opportunities for women who may otherwise have limited access to employment.
The result is a collection of practical bags that combine everyday function with meaningful craftsmanship. As with all Gringo products, our felt bags are developed through long-standing fairtrade partnerships that support responsible production and traditional skills.
As a family-run UK brand established in 1984, we continue to prioritise ethical sourcing, natural materials and plastic-free packaging across every collection.
